COORJC Rookie Run registration

2026 Season -  May 30th  Registration Open

​This event is intended to provide an entry level introduction
to the sport of 4 wheel drive offroad.
   

After you register,  you can expect to see an email with event details anytime between 3 days after registration is closed, up to a week before the event.

If you do not see an email within 5 days of the event please check your junk mail folder. If you do not see it in your junk mail please email to rookie@coorjc.com

Meeting Place - Fynn's Store (Gas station)


Address - 29 County 507 Rd, Buckhorn, ON K0L 1J0


Meeting Time & Registration - 10:00 am  (Walk ups not accepted for this event.  You must be pre-registered.)  
 

Driver Meeting - 10:15 am
 

Trail departure - 10:30 am sharp
 

How Long Is The Ride - The trail ride itself should be between 3 - 5 hours (can be longer), depending on conditions and driver abilities. Adjustments can be made. Plan for a full day.
 

How Far is The Trail From The Meeting Location - We use trails from Bobcaygeon all the way up to Shoe lake.  Shoe Lake is the furthest trail most of our trails are in and around Bobcaygeon.  If you would like to avoid the drive to Shoe Lake trail please add a comment in registration form.      
 

What To Bring - Snacks, drinks, lunch, proper clothing and footwear, extra clothing and footwear, bug repellent/gear.
 

What Must My Jeep/Rig Have - Front and rear tow/recovery points, full size spare tire, selectable 4 low and a FULL tank of fuel.
 

What Trail Will We Be On - Up to level 2+ you will be assigned a trail based on your Jeeps capabilities and experience.
